LIVING HISTORY
The purpose of the association is to give the public an insight into how the conditions were in the early 1700s. Through historical lectures, speeches, duels and episodes from the 18th century, we create living history. You meet the Norwegian sea hero Peter Wessel Tordenskiold and the Swedish King Karl XII who actually have something unsettled from the 1700s. ACADÉMIE TORDENSKIOLD uses historical correct outfits, effects and weapons. We have performed our plays in both English, Swedish, German and Russian. We always give a close and personal experience.
WHAT WE DO
Académie Tordenskiold brings history to life in various ways. We conduct plays, duels, lectures, and reenactments. Keywords for our participation are authenticity, engagement, and humor. The members of the association should have fun with history!
