BACKGROUND

ACADÉMIE TORDENSKIOLD is a historical association founded on knowledge of history and commitment to convey in a way that interests and captures people of our time.

The association was founded on Peter Wessel Tordenskjold's 324th birthday on October 28, 2014. The association is led by a board consisting of Lars G. Wessel Johnsen and Asle Norli. Wessel Johnsen is related to the great Norwegian naval hero Peter Wessel Tordenskjold.

Our reenactors have between 10 to 15 years of experience and possess specialized knowledge in specific subjects. The association has appeared on Norwegian TV (NRK, TV Norge), Swedish TV (SVT), German TV (NDR), and Russian TV (Russia Today, Rossia, among others). We always generate enthusiasm with our performances.

ASSOCIATION TAKES ASSIGNMENT

"ACADÉMIE TORDENSKIOLD is happy to participate if you or your organization desire a historical presence. We can demonstrate extensive practical experience and provide excellent references.

We have previously contributed to anniversaries, market days, weddings, events organized by the military, and various municipal celebrations. With our extensive experience, we can offer strong references.
